Noise recently launched its latest smart fitness band, ColorFit 2 in the Indian market. The band that retails for Rs 1,999 comes with three different color options and a wide variety of modes.
Design and Build Quality
The Noise Color fit 2 band features a rectangular tracker module built from high-quality plastic and the strap is comprised of TPU soft rubber which is very easy to wear across the wrists, without any discomfort on the skin.
The straps are adjustable and come in various colour choices and this tracker weighs only 24 g which makes it unnoticeable even though you wear it on your hand all the time.
The strap is sturdy enough to be durable and has a stud-type structure for keeping the strap in the hand tightly.
The ColorFit 2 has IP68 waterproof rating enough to withstand dust, dirt, and sand, and is resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m underwater for up to thirty minutes so that you can use it in rain or shower.
Display
The Noise Colorfit 2 features a 0.96-inch TFT LCD colorful display with good viewing angles and reasonable sunlight legibility for an LCD panel.
Noise Colorfit 2 does not have always on screen to prevent battery drain, the display lights up only when you lift your hand.
The colored icons feel much more natural than the black and white ones and provide you a great interactive experience.
Sensors
ColorFit 2 has a built-in activity tracker, 24-hour heart rate monitor, step counter, sleep tracker, sedentary reminder, and goal completion reminder to help you get fit and keep you motivated.
Heart rate measurement is not fully accurate on the band since the value fluctuates, but you get more details on the app which is somewhat better than the latter.
There is an accelerometer sensor for step counts and calorie burn calculation. Features such as sedentary reminders also make this tracker a much more useful device.
Miscellaneous
The smart band is water-resistant, and can comfortably withstand small splashes of water.
In case you don’t like the strap that comes pre-fitted with the dial, these straps are conveniently swappable and the additional straps can be purchased from the Go Noise website
An optional menstrual cycle tracker can be added from the NoiseFIT SPORTS app, a built-in period tracker makes tracking your menstrual cycle easier.
There is a remote camera feature that can be used to control your smartphone’s camera, but you can’t control music on the phone.
Battery life
The ColorFit 2 is powered by a 90mAh Li-ion battery that can last up to 7 days on a single charge.
The tracker module comes with a built-in USB port and the device can be charged directly from a power source such as a power bank or a laptop without requiring a separate charger.
Verdict
The ColorFit 2 is a decent fitness band for the price with a color screen, several sports tracking features, in addition to activity, sleep and heart rate tracking, and good battery life.
